The following is a sonic representation of a semi-fictional story:

It was October 27, 2012 and I treated myself to the Metropolitan Opera in New York City to watch Otello live and in-person. After the show, I found myself wandering the rainy streets of New York City alone at night. I was stuck in my thoughts and feeling a bit lonely. Unbeknownst to me, that night was going to transition into something wild. Just as the peak of the night hit, I wake up from my alarm and phone going off realizing it was all a dream. I hear my door bell and slowly proceed downstairs to open the front door. To my surprise, I'm met by a familiar face leaving me perplexed and wondering, "What actually happened last night?".

In reality, I did in fact watch Otello live. However, I believe I watched it with a friend at the AMC theatre in IMAX instead. The exact showing may actually have been accurate, because that's what I see archived on the Metropolitan Opera website. I have watched at the Metropolitan Opera at least once before, but I don't think I did in this instance. The rest of the above story is fictional. Just for the record, I somewhat avoid wild nights like the one portrayed in this song - I'm more of an introvert :)
